92 Minutes

     1.   In groups of 3 or 4, exchange your drafts of your personal essay. Read each other’s essays and make comments on things you liked about the essays. Highlight or underline these places and write in the margin why you like these places. Try to read at least two essays during this time. 

     2.   For next time: Read “Remembering My Childhood on the Continent of Africa” by David Sedaris and respond to this chart/questions. 

     3.   Continue Independent Book Selection selection process. Take notes on book choices.
