1. Read the
article about Anita Hill. Underline/highlight and take notes on it,
especially on things that seem similar to the Kavanaugh hearings. NOTE: the
instructions at the top of the article say to “respond to the questions at the
end of the article.” HOWEVER, there are no such questions, so ignore this particular instruction. 10-15
minutes
3. Begin viewing the film Confirmation. You will be writing a
response to the film after we finish viewing it next week, so take notes on it
in your notebooks—notes about what is going on, who is involved, their
reactions, parallels with Kavanaugh hearings, etc.
