     1.   SSR/ Get your Dialogue Journals checked off 
REMINDER: Schedule for Independent Book Dialogue Journal:
The journal can either be typed or hand written. DUE DATES for these journals:
Entries 1 and 2: Friday, November 1
Entries 1, 2, 3 and 4: Wednesday, November 7
Entries 5 and 6: Wednesday, November 14
Entries 7, 8, 9, and 10: Thursday, November 29

     2.   Finish watching Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie TED Talk and take notes in your notebook. Label these notes “We Should All Be Feminists Notes” 

     3.   In your notebook begin a new page titled “Response to Adichie’s TedTalk, November 14, 2018”: Review as a class and add to your notes:
a.   According to Adichie, what is feminism?
b.   Why “should we all be feminists?”
c.    What are her suggestions for achieving gender equality?
d.   Are there any blind spots in Adichie’s suggestions? What are they?
e.   What are some additional ways that gender equality might be achieved?
f.      Any other thoughts about what she said.

4. Share out your thoughts on Chimamande Adichie’s TedTalk 

REMINDER: You should finish reading your book and have ALL dialogue journals completed by November 29 (15 days from now)

HOMEWORK: Keep reading and taking notes on your Independent Book. You should have entries #7-10 for Thursday, Nov. 29
