Feminism

     1.   In small groups, share your No Turning Back summaries, quotes and questions. Discuss each other’s questions and quotes. Take notes about this discussion in your notebooks titled “Class Discussion Notes Chapter 1, No Turning Back, December 7, 2018.”   I will come around and stamp and check off your summaries. 

     2.    Feminist Strand Presentation instructions handed out and reviewed. 

 3.   Feminist Strand groups get together are do these things:

a.   Exchange phone numbers and email addresses (set up a group chat?)

b.   Begin researching and planning your presentations. You can use the computers in the mobile cart. 

You will have time in class to do work on this next Tuesday and Thursday, but otherwise there will be no other class time to work on this. THIS MEANS THAT OUTSIDE WORK WILL NEED TO BE DONE ON THIS MAJOR PROJECT

REMINDER: your group should locate an article that the class will read ahead of your presentation

HOMEWORK DUE TUESDAY, DEC. 11: Read pages 17-42 in No Turning Back, and write up a summary and copy 3 passages you would like to discuss and create 3 questions (see the instructions for reading and taking notes on No Turning Back
